Owen has worked with most independent supermarket premium brands as well as smaller, independent producers to extend their ranges of ethnic sauces, condiments, jams, chutneys, salad dressings, marinates and mayonnaises. He was involved in developing the chutneys for Tesco’s very first Finest range (originally called the Connoisseur range), for Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference, Asda’s Extra Special and many others. 

With an unquestionable passion for constantly exploring new flavourings and combinations of ingredients, Owen has created simply hundreds of new recipes.

Twenty years in the business has brought him to the very front of food trends and, with his great source of knowledge of the industry, his peers often ask him where to obtain ingredients, how to use them and even how to choose equipment for their industrial kitchens.

It was just eight years ago that Owen decided to create his own Potts’ range. Needless to say, the brand quickly caught on and is now available in farm shops and delis as well as supermarket outlets.
